data use

Mail data stays separate from these public app-information pages.

Google account access

The software uses Google OAuth to access the Gmail account expressly authorized by its owner. Its current authorization is Gmail read-only. Although that permission can read message contents, the collector requests message metadata and labels, not message bodies or attachments.

Collected information includes message identifiers, sender headers, subjects, received dates, labels, and information needed to compare proposed rule decisions over time.

Storage and use

OAuth credentials, observations, and reports are stored in owner-restricted local files outside the configuration repository. They are not published on this website. The software contacts Google to read the authorized account and refresh its authorization.

The unattended runtime does not send collected message metadata to an LLM provider or train a model. It does not sell Google user data or use it for advertising. Use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Owner-directed assistant access

The owner may inspect local files or authorize assistants and other tools to help manage the service. Such access is controlled by the owner and is not required for unattended operation. If the owner separately shares files with an assistant or tool, that disclosure is owner-directed and governed by that service's settings and terms. This notice does not describe other email clients or services the owner separately uses.

Retention and revocation

The owner can stop the software and revoke its Google authorization at any time. Revocation stops future authorized reads but does not erase existing local reports. Local data is retained until the owner chooses to remove it; no automatic deletion period is currently configured.

Changes to access, retention, or sharing require an updated notice before that behavior begins.

This website

These pages are informational and do not receive Gmail data or credentials. The page source contains no analytics scripts, forms, or third-party embedded media. The hosting provider processes web requests to serve the pages.
